50 Simple Things That are Awesome
Many times we get so caught up in the day-to-day minutiae, and the chase for more, better, faster that defines western culture, that we forget about the simple pleasures that used to make us so happy as children and teens. I’ve decided to compile a few. Off the top of my head, in no particular order:
- Cheese
- Cartoons
- Sunshine
- Beer
- Peaceful afternoons
- Riding bikes
- People with accents saying awesome shit. Moyses of brazilian death metal band Krisiun got asked how he sweet picks so fast. He said “much practice for speed metal brutal attack!”
- Accomplishing something before the microwave hits 0:00
- A good book

- Eating hot food
- The yawn-stretch.
